Pixartprint Acquires Vistaprint In $127 Million Deal

A $127 million deal was recently announced, in which Alcedo SGR backed Italian web to print company Pixartprinting acquired Vistaprint. Of course, the company is well known for its Vista Print free business cards, and Pixartprinting is also a well known provider of business cards. Vistaprint was advised by Leonardo and company, while the Italian company was advised by Altium, and the deal should be completed towards the end of 2014.

In addition to Vista Print business cards, the company offers many other quality printed goods; in fact, it owns about 16 million micro businesses. Vistaprint ships is products all over the world and the company employs more than 4,500 people. Pixartprinting has a staff of about 330 and its 100,000 customers, mostly in Europe, place over 500,000 orders every year. The company’s work is generally highly regarded, and they specialize in flyers, stickers, labels and magazines, using the latest techniques in design and printing technology. The company is also known for its great customer service and fast delivery time. The two companies plan to pool their resources and expertise and the takeover should not affect the production of Vista print business cards, which are considered to be a vest selling item.
