Sensitivity And Teeth Whitening How To Solve It?

Posted by: headm on: April 10, 2013

Tooth whitening has become quite popular recently and chances are you know someone who has had it done with positive results. There is also a chance you know someone who has had negative results. The most common issue with the fastest way to whiten teeth at home is tooth sensitivity because of the peroxide or bleach in most of the products on the market. Also, if the product is a gel it can irritate your gums, tongue, or lips. Its not only the over the counter products that can cause problems though, even home remedies can have negative effects. The acid in strawberries or lemons can eat away at the enamel if used too much. Not even having your teeth whitened at the dentist is without risks, because the laser used for in-office procedures can cause burning, swelling, and blistering.

Then what would be the solution?

It does not mean ultimately that each and every one of the solutions cause sensitivity. As all of us have a unique physical structure, which is true about the teeth and gums as well, the best thing is to check out a quality and recommended product, then try it. If that does not trigger off any oral sensitivity then use it. If it does, then you are better off with replacing it with another highly recommended product from a different brand.
