Sportsmanship is another important thing that children will learn about. Working together and understanding each other are two values that are learned from playing an organized sport. These organized sports also help children learn how to show respect and be a good sportsman. Even if a child wins a game, they will be instructed to congratulate the other team. When they end up losing a game, the child will be taught not to be a sore loser. Stress relief. Sports can be a great outlet for children who are having trouble at school or home. This will also help them choose good ways to cope with things instead of turning to drugs or crime.
